COI: What is your current major, degree plan, and professional concentration?

Aishni: I am pursuing my master’s in information science with a concentration in Health Informatics. I have completed 2 semesters and am planning to graduate in May 2024.

COI: Why did you apply for this scholarship and what made you think you were a good match for it?

Aishni: While going through the Eagle Scholarship Portal, I found this offered by the Department of Information Science. As I meet the requirement criteria, I felt I was a good match for this.

COI: What are some highlights of your time in the program so far? Do you want to shout out to any specific courses or professors who have helped you along the way?

Aishni: I was able to learn many interdisciplinary subjects. I want to shout out to each and every professor who is always available to the students to lend support always and when required.

COI: What are your career plans after graduation?

Aishni: After my graduation, I would like to pursue a career as a Health Informatics Specialist.

COI: Can you share any big successes you’ve had or obstacles you’ve overcome?

Aishini: Receiving this Scholarship is one of the big successes that I have achieved during my time in the USA.
