Music/Poetry

  • 2020-present          The Voices and Bridges Project -- an ongoing multi-lingual, multicultural collaboration between more than sixty artists and musicians from around the world (academic and linguistic advisor; translation of poetry from different languages into English)

 

Visual Arts

  • A solo exhibition of Munshi's paintings titled “Islands of Serenity” was organized by and held at the Jammu & Kashmir Academy of Art, Culture and Languages (2014)
  • Munshi was invited to be a critic of an online digital art exhibition title “FRAMES 2020” organized by Gayoor Art Foundation (August 2020).
     

Creative Writing

  • 2010-present (in progress): Three collections of poetry in Kashmiri, Urdu and English. Some of the poems have been published in various media, such as magazines, newspapers and television.
  • Playwright: 1996-1999 (story, screenplay and dialogue)
    • Taqdīr aur Hādisey (‘Fate and accidents'), a feature film in Urdu, broadcast on Doordarshan Kendra Srinagar (state-run television station of Jammu & Kashmir (India))

A series of six one-act plays in Urdu on various themes; these include Qatba ‘The Tombstone', Safar ‘The Journey', Khudkushi ‘suicide', Maqsad ‘The Objective', and others, for Doordarshan Kendra Srinagar (state-run television station of Jammu & Kashmir (India))
