In support of student success at UNT, academic advising is a collaborative partnership between advisor and student. Academic advisors use a holistic and developmental approach to assist students in defining, clarifying, and achieving academic, personal and career goals.
Degrees in the College of Information are offered at the doctoral, masters, and bachelors levels. We also offer a variety of certificate programs – all designed to prepare students for information careers in educational, vocational, and professional settings. The College of Information advising office advises for the bachelors and masters programs within the college. Doctoral programs are advised through the departments that offer the degree.
The College of Information Advising office is located at UNT Discovery Park, Room C232. Advising appointments are typically virtual, through zoom, but students can request an in person appointment.
