PERFECT is an educational research initiative focused on enhancing cybersecurity awareness
and digital safety among high school students and teachers. It offers a three-tiered
curriculum (Basic, Intermediate, Advanced) supported by interactive resources and
assessments. The program is rooted in national frameworks like the NIST Cybersecurity
Framework and aims to make cybersecurity education accessible, engaging, and impactful.

Summary:
CYBER CREWS is a DHS-supported initiative to advance cybersecurity research and workforce
development, especially among underrepresented groups. It includes active research
in cyberinfrastructure protection and offers a 12-credit certificate in Cybersecurity for Data Scientists. Students gain hands-on experience and can qualify for tuition support, preparing
them for careers in high-demand security roles.
