Mentors

  • In a field related to at least one of our College of Information Programs (Information Science, Library Science, Health Informatics, Data Science, Learning Technologies, or Linguistics).
  • Preferably, a UNT alumni, but not required. 
  • If you are a current student, you must be at the Master's level or higher to be considered a Mentor.
  • If you are an industry professional or alumni, any level of education is acceptable as long as you meet the criteria of the first point. 
  • Must be willing and able to meet with your mentee a minimum of twice per semester (Fall: August-December; Spring: January-May)

Mentees

  • Must be a current or newly graduated College of Information Student. Newly graduated, meaning you have graduated within the past 2 years. 
  • Must be willing and able to meet with your mentor a minimum of twice per semester.
