Qualifications:

Must be a US citizen or permanent resident

Must be and remain a full-time undergraduate student with strong academic record

Must have completed at least 1 year of college coursework or equivalent

Must attend daily activities in person at the UNT Discovery Park during the 10-week program

Students from underrepresented groups (women, minorities, and persons with disabilities) and academic institutions with limited research opportunities are especially welcome
Required Materials:

A resume or curriculum vitea which includes information related to programming skills, classes taken, research/work experience, and any other relevant information.
- A copy of your transcripts. Unofficial transcripts are fine.
- Contact information for a reference who can comment on your academic preparation in college and any research experiences, community involvement, ect.
Important Dates:

March 1st, 2024: Application deadline

March 15th, 2024: Notification date. Once an offer of acceptance has been extended to an applicant, a confirmation must be received within one week of the offer date.

May 20, 2024: REU program starting date

July 26, 2024: REU program ending date
