and Denmark)? How can academia and schools work together to promote productive development?
Join Drs. Lindström, O'Connor, and Ross for a presentation on the impact and influence
of ICT on education in Scandinavia followed by a lively and provocative discussion.

Senior Professor Dr. Berner Lindström, from the University of Gothenburg, is a co-director
of The Linnaeus Centre for Research on Learning, Interaction and Mediated Communication
in Contemporary Society and heads the research group Learning, Knowing and IT which
is situated both at the IT-university and the Faculty of Education.
Dr. Brian C. O'Connor, from COI:UNT, is a professor in the Department of Information
Science and Founding Director of the Visual Thinking Laboratory. His focus is on
information seeking behavior and image document access.
Dr. Haj (John Robert) Ross, from COI:UNT, is a Distinguished Research Professor in
the Department of Linguistics. His focus is on semantax and linguistic analysis of
poetry.
