The partnership will connect UNT’s research expertise and student talent with real-world projects, creating pathways for internships, micro-internships, and hands-on learning experiences tied to industry needs. The collaboration is designed to move ideas from concept to demonstration—and, where appropriate, into real-world deployment.

Initial efforts will focus on sponsored research projects, prototype development in artificial intelligence and information systems, and commercialization initiatives in areas such as embodied AI and service automation. The partnership will also include workshops, showcases, and speaker events to strengthen engagement between students, faculty, and industry leaders.

“Partnerships like this are most valuable when they create meaningful opportunities for students and provide a strong platform for applied work,” said Dr. Kinshuk. “We are pleased to collaborate on initiatives that connect learning, research, and real-world problem solving.”

This collaboration reflects UNT’s continued commitment to interdisciplinary innovation and its mission to prepare students for success in a rapidly evolving, technology-driven economy.
