Welcome to the PERFECT Project—Providing Environment and Resources for STEM 9th–12th Graders in Effective Cybersecurity Training for highschool teachers.

Funded by the Office of Naval Research (ONR) and developed by students and faculty at the University of North Texas (UNT) and West Texas A&M University (WTAMU), this self-paced, online training gives high school STEM teachers the tools to teach real-world cybersecurity concepts in the classroom.

Who Can Attend This Training?

The PERFECT Project is designed specifically for:

  • High School Teachers (from approved schools) - If your ISD is not approved, collect a approval letter from your school/ ISD

  • Teachers from public, private, or charter schools

  • Educators passionate about introducing cybersecurity concepts in the classroom

  • Teachers from Texas and beyond — this is a virtual, self-paced training

  • No prior cybersecurity background required — we’ll guide you step by step!
