Building Community College Library Capacity for Supporting Students' Data Literacy Needs

Building on Phase 1 of our project, the purpose of Phase 2 (the implementation phase) is to enhance the capacity of community college libraries and librarians to contextualize and implement data literacy within their institutions. Over the course of two years, we will partner with the Association of College & Research Libraries Community and Junior College Libraries Section to empower community college libraries to be literacy leaders by developing an accessible and comprehensive toolkit for community college libraries, facilitating the integration of data literacy principles and practices into their services and programs. Additionally, we will offer webinar-based workshops as part of our initiatives. This phase was funded by the Institute of Museum and Library Services grant: RE-256673-OLS-24.
