Rex Khullar’s Agricultural Photography Collection

Meet Rex Khullar. Rex is a member of the Lamkang community, which resides in Purum Pantha, a small village in the Chandel district of Manipor, India. Rex spends a lot of his time on his farm land, tending to his many crops, which include his paddy field, corn field, beans, mustard leaves, ladyfingers, and more! Rex enjoys photographing his daily life—including but not limited to photos of his farm, meals, animals, flowers, and other people—and posting them on FaceBook to show elements of Lamkang culture as well as connect with people from other communities nearby. 

Over the last year, Rex has been documenting his agricultural work through photographs.  We've been helping him create  bilingual metadata—in both Lamkang and English—for his photographs.
