The 2023 MIRS Conference was hosted on December 1, 2023 from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Discovery Park, Room E265. Program included keynote speaker and UNT alumni, Dr. Alaina Doyle, as well as featured Student Research Paper Presentations.   

Student Research Papers Submission Rules

  • All graduate students welcome
  • The proceedings for the papers will be published
  • The corrected papers will be due in the new year
  • 750 words, AND you can publish with your peers, major professors, and committee members 
  • Papers representing preliminary work from your core classes are welcome.

  
Word limits  
•    15 words or fewer for Paper Titles  
•    100-250 words (@1000 characters) for Abstract for Posters or Diversity Panels  
•    750-1000 words (@4000-5000 characters) for Full Paper proposals considered for awards if accepted.
