COI: Why did you apply for the Learning Technologies scholarship?

Jenna: I applied for the scholarship because I am a Learning Technologies student and am passionate about the use of technology in the classroom to improve teaching and learning. I am now in my final semester of the program and have a 4.0 GPA, have had five papers published, and have given over 20 professional presentations, so I felt I was a strong candidate for a merit-based scholarship.  

COI: What impact has this scholarship had on your academic career?
 
Jenna: The scholarship has helped alleviate the cost of the program. I am completing the program quickly, which has been expensive, so the scholarship has helped me be able to continue taking courses at the same pace so I can complete the program and pursue my post-Ph.D. goals.

COI: Tell us a highlight of your time in the Learning Technologies program.

Jenna: My greatest accomplishment in the program so far is my portfolio. I am very proud of the work I have done for it, including many professional presentations, publications, research projects, and courses developed.
