Dean Kinshuk announced, Dr. Yunjo An was selected to serve as the new Chair of the Learning Technologies Department.  Dr. An currently serves as an Associate Professor in the department.  

She received her PhD in Instructional Systems Technology from Indiana University Bloomington and she has taught a variety of courses in Learning Technologies/Instructional Technology over the last 12 years. 

Her research interests include digital game-based learning, gamification of learning, complex problem solving and learning in technology-enhanced learning environments, learner-centered technology integration and teacher professional development.  

Dr. An is co-author of an upcoming book, "Merging the Instructional Design Process with Learner-Centered Theory: The Holistic 4D Model." (Available from Routledge in October 2020). She starts her new role on September 1, 2020.
