Last week, The University of North Texas held an awards ceremony to recognize milestone years of service for UNT faculty and staff. The College of Information celebrates the hard work of the following nine individuals:

25 Years

Dr. Shobhana Chelliah, Distinguished Research Professor, Linguistics.

Dr. Shobhana Chelliah to take fall sabbatical as she’s named a Fulbright-Nehru Fellow. The Fulbright-Nehru fellowship will require her full attention despite a brief delay in travel due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Chelliah currently serves at the Associate Dean of Research and Development, while being an active faculty member in the Linguistics department. This fellowship, considered highly competitive and only two are given each year.  

Ana Cleveland, UNT Regents Professor of library and information sciences, earned the 2018 Marcia C. Noyes Award, the highest honor that the Medical Library Association confers. The Marcia C.
